Kale & Berries Smoothie

1 Banana, broken unto chunks

1/2 cup mixed frozen berries

1/2 cup shredded Kale

1/2 cup orange juice

1/2 cup water

2 tablespoons plain Greek yogurt

10 Almonds (optional)


Place banana, berries, kale, orange juice, water, yogurt, and almonds into a blender. Cover and puree until smooth, 20 to 30 seconds.


  • If I don't have any kale on hand, I substitute it with spinach. you can also at a scoop of protein if desired. Using just water works if you don't have or down want  orange juice.
